Counter Surveillance and Bug Sweeping Services
We offer a highly specialised Technical Surveillance Countermeasure service, more commonly known as a bug sweep, which is designed to detect all types of hidden cameras, microphones and tracking devices in homes, on businesses premises, superyachts and private aircraft.
Physical Search
Detailed physical search by experienced former law enforcement and government operatives with specialist knowledge of counter terrorism and covert technical surveillance using high level techniques and equipment. Where necessary, voids, cavities, suspended ceilings and floors will be examined with endoscopes, camera probes and UV lighting to detect anomalies.
RF (Radio Frequency) Sweep
The RF sweep covers frequencies:
- 0-14000 MHz Wideband
- 4G 800 MHz
- 2G 900 MHz
- 2G/4G 1800 MHz
- 3G (UMTS)(WCDMA) 2100 MHz
- 4G 2600 MHz
- 2400 MHz WiFi and Bluetooth
- 5000 MHz WiFi and WLAN
Non-Linear Junction Detector (NLJD)
Detection of passive non-RF transmitting surveillance devices which may be concealed deep within a building’s fabric (in plaster or concrete for example). Devices can be deactivated or placed in a non-transmitting ‘deep sleep’ mode where batteries have fully discharged.
IR Sweep
Infrared inspection to detect concealed camera lenses.
Ultrasonic Detection
Ultrasonic sweep for detection of audio jammers and transmitters from 15 kHz to 80 kHz.
Electrical Mains Carrier Current Search
Audio product can be transmitted across electrical mains circuit by mains carrier devices. Electrical switches and power points will be separately tested to cater for any different supply phases, together with attached electrical appliances, in the frequency range 100 kHz to 60 MHz.
Extended Data Logging
Extended, automated and unattended RF data logging for up to 250 hour periods to detect suspicious non-synchronous RF transmission.
Telephone & Network Cables
Telephone and other cables (eg, Cat 5 and network cables) tested for unauthorised audio transmissions from 300Hz to 20kHz.
Acoustic Leakage Detection
Acoustic Leakage Detection can determine the vulnerability of windows, walls and structural objects to interception by external monitoring, such as laser microphones which can be effective at 500 metres.
