A stunning bar and nightlife venue spread over the two floors of a listed building, Canvas is located in Bournemouth’s Soho Quarter at the top of Poole Hill. It serves up cocktails, tapas and pizza in the Loft Bar while the Live Lounge beckons you in with infectious live tunes or epic DJ sets that are both current and retrospective. It showcases frequent live music events featuring the likes of Craig Charles and the Cuban Brothers, as well as the finest local DJS and bands.

Previously the home of Bumbles nightclub, Canvas has breathed new life and style into Bournemouth’s over-21s market and while the premises are large and sprawling, the venue successfully retains a cosy, informal and personal vibe. In a town where bars come and go frequently, Canvas is now well established and always generally busy so arrive early to beat the queues. Doors open early fro 5pm Tuesday to Sunday with free entry unless there’s a ticketed gig in the 250 capacity Live Lounge.
