Cornered the Christmas Market
Aegis Security Support have been contracted to provide security at the Bournemouth Christmas Market and Alpine Lodge Bar this winter.
Aegis Security Support are proud to be contracted to provide public safeguarding and door supervision for the Bournemouth Christmas Market and Alpine Lodge Bar this winter.
Despite the uncertainty about the current omicrom variant, the Christmas Market, centred in Bournemouth Square, is set to be hugely popular for shoppers and revellers alike this year. As well as several stalls selling crafts, foodstuffs, clothing and novelty gifts, the Market acts as hub for people meeting up to just soak up the festive atmosphere.
Last year the Market was cancelled at an estimated cost to the town of £34 million. A study suggested that the town’s market stalls, bar and Christmas Tree Wonderland attract around one million people each festive season. And it is estimated that visitors spend an average £34 each, putting Bournemouth in the top 10 Christmas markets in the UK.
Aegis will also be providing security to the Alpine Lodge Bar which is hugely popular with old and young alike. The heated undercover bar will be serving an array of festive drinks including their more-ish mulled wine. Aegis will provide door personnel to make sure that the seasonal fun remains safe and relaxed as well as public guidance about coronavirus measures.
Aegis Security Support can supply highly-experienced door personnel and event supervision chosen to meet the varying needs of our clients.
