Another licensed premises in the busy nightlife location of Ashley Cross has entrusted Aegis Security Support with their door supervision and evening security. Drift on the Green, a bustling bar and live music venue in the heart of the area, has quickly developed into a popular night spot in what is now Poole’s liveliest locality. The new contract will see Aegis supplying door personnel and security until the small hours at weekends.
Drift’s older sister is the Drift bar on Poole Quay, owned and managed by the team behind the adjacent Di Vinci’s Restaurant. The original bar was originally set up as a micro bar serving a limited range of craft ales.
The new venue in Commercial Road has a much larger footprint and has allowed Drift on the Green to also serve sophisticated cocktails and handcrafted spirits as well as a range of platters. There is regular live music at weekends from a wide range of local and national artists.
